Cant log on to Gmail with education account?
Hey,
So my school (southern illinois university) set me up with a school email. Gmail handles the school email accounts, but the actual account goes joesmith@siu.edu instead of joesmith@gmail.com.
When i try to log on the account from the gmail page it wont let me, but when i log on from the schools website it lets me right in. I also cant access the account from my iphone email app. It says that the password/id are incorrect.

In my opinion, Gmail provides login to all Gmail users on the web. If yiou have Gmail account, then you can access you account anywhere on the web. But if you have any educational account and Gmail handles it, it means it gives all security and trust certificates. If you want to login to your edu account, you have to go your university account login page.
